Nick Musial

Nick Musial is the VP, Controller & Chief Accounting Officer at Allegion. Prior to this, they were the Manager, Accounting Policy at Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P. from January 2013 to November 2013. Before that, they were the Director, External Reporting at BrightPoint from May 2007 to January 2013.

At BrightPoint, Nick was responsible for the coordination and completion of monthly financial accounting close. Nick supervised reporting of monthly results into Hyperion Financial Management by approximately 30 domestic and foreign subsidiaries. Nick reviewed detailed monthly financial results for these entities for accuracy. Nick also supervised preparation of consolidating entries and the preparation of monthly reports to senior management.

Nick also supervised the preparation and filing of periodic, quarterly and annual SEC reports (Form 8-K, 10-Q and 10-K) and quarterly earnings releases. Nick was the primary internal contact with external auditors to coordinate the completion of their quarterly review and annual audit.

In addition, Nick supervised the coordination and completion of quarterly forecasts and annual operating plan. Between filing periods, they were responsible for researching new accounting standards, developing company position papers on new standards and company-specific accounting issues, and implementing new standards. Lastly, they were responsible for development and maintenance of company global accounting policies.

They are on a team with Cynthia Farrer - SVP, Global Operations & Integrated Supply Chain, Jen Preczewski - VP & Chief Human Resources Officer, and Dave Ilardi - SVP, Allegion Americas. Nick Musial reports to John H. Stone, President & CEO.
