Houssam Amer

Houssam Amer serves as the Chief Information Officer and Chief Digital Officer at Allegro MicroSystems since June 2023. Previously, Houssam held multiple senior roles at L3Harris Technologies from 2019 to June 2023, including Vice President of Digital Transformation and Vice President of IT Applications and Strategy. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of IT Strategy & Applications and Director of IT Strategy & Planning at Harris Corporation from 2016 to 2019, and Vice President of Discrete Manufacturing at Tech Mahindra from 2014 to 2016, where Houssam focused on technology innovation in manufacturing. Earlier in the career at ITWorx, Houssam held the positions of Vice President for North America and eBusiness Division Manager from 1998 to 2014, overseeing significant operations and team management. Houssam Amer holds an MBA from Purdue University Daniels School of Business, an MS in Computer Science from Miami University, and a BSC in Computer Science from The American University in Cairo.
