Allen & Heath
Gabriel Ocampo is a DSP Engineer at Allen & Heath since March 2021, where responsibilities include developing real-time audio DSP algorithms in Assembly for live mixing desks and implementing C++ code for audio effects management. Previously, Gabriel worked as a research intern at The University of Manchester, focusing on power consumption reduction in wearable medical devices and PCB design for an electronic eyepatch prototype. As a Teaching and Research Assistant at Universidad Sergio Arboleda, Gabriel led a team researching blood oxygen monitoring systems using Arduino and developed a mobile application for data tracking. Gabriel holds an MSc in Communications and Signal Processing, Electronic Engineering from The University of Manchester and is pursuing a Foundation degree in Electronic Engineering through Sheffield International College.
