Rachel Kalas, SHRM-CP has a strong background in human resources and has held various managerial positions throughout their career. Rachel started their career in 1989 as a Human Resource Manager at the City of Toledo. Rachel then moved on to work as a Human Resource Manager at the Lucas County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities from 1994 to 1998. Rachel then joined Medical Mutual of Ohio in 1998 as a part of the Provider Services team.
In 2014, Rachel joined Allen Industries Inc. where they held multiple roles, including Corporate Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Director. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing five manufacturing plants with a total of 350 employees, including both union and non-union workers. Rachel also played a key role in the seamless purchase of Harmon Sign by Allen Industries.

Rachel Kalas, SHRM-CP has studied at The University of Toledo, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business degree with a focus in Human Resource Management. Prior to that, they attended Central Catholic High School in Toledo, Ohio. Later on, they returned to The University of Toledo to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, also specializing in Human Resource Management.
