JJ Yang

JJ Yang is a BI engineer on the Semantic Scholar team. He studied statistics and math, and spent the early years of his career in the midwest, building data solutions for retailers in Cincinnati and Chicago. He moved to Seattle to get closer to the mountains. Before joining AI2 he worked for two and a half years as a BI engineer for Amazon. Outside of his professional interests in big data processing and analysis, he enjoys spending time traveling, hiking or skiing.
