Kelsey Macmillan

Kelsey MacMillan is a Technical Product Manager for Semantic Scholar. She started out as a product design engineer at Apple after completing degrees in Mechanical Engineering at Brown University and UC Berkeley. She then decided to pursue her love of applied math and machine learning, obtaining an MS in Data Science at the University of San Francisco and working as a data scientist in roles at Microsoft and Seattle-area start-ups. Most recently, Kelsey has been focused on the product side of AI and NLP and loves the challenge of bridging technical and user-facing domains. Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys spending time with dogs, horses, and human friends.
