John Murphy is the firm's Strategic Pricing Director. John has over thirteen years of financial experience at top professional services firms. He has an understanding of pricing, revenue forecasting, executive compensation, contracting risk, and headcount/FTE planning.
John's role involves firm-wide pricing and financial management of the firm's matter monitoring system. He works with client relationship attorneys, group leaders and management to refine pricing initiatives through analytical insights. This includes helping attorneys achieve their clients’ business objectives by developing and monitoring arrangements that increase predictability and promote efficiency.
Prior to joining Allen Matkins, John held positions in pricing and project management at two separate law firms.
