Gil Ortiz

Gil Ortiz possesses extensive experience in biomedical engineering and related management roles. Currently serving as the Testing and Commissioning Manager at Allen & Shariff Corporation since November 2019, Ortiz previously held positions such as Senior Biomedical Engineer for the New Al Ain Hospital Project at the same company. With a background in consulting for hospital projects at EHAF Consulting Engineers and AL FARAA CONSTRUCTION AND INDUSTRIAL GROUP, Ortiz has also worked at Almana General Hospitals, where responsibilities included directing the Biomedical Engineering Department across multiple sites. Earlier career stages include serving as a Siemens Service Engineer in East Africa and establishing a Biomedical Engineering Department in a 100-bed hospital. Ortiz holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics from Feati University and a certification as a Scientific Electronic Instrumentation Technician.
