Troy Vanderlaan

Troy VanderLaan's work experience includes serving as a Human Resources Director at Allendale Public Schools since January 2024. Prior to that, they were the High School Principal at Allendale High School from June 2019 to January 2024. Troy also worked at Kentwood Public Schools, where they held various roles such as Assistant Principal, Summer School Principal, High School Teacher, and Coach from March 2005 to June 2019.

Troy VanderLaan completed their Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Grand Valley State University in 2012. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in History with a minor in Earth Science and an endorsement in Social Studies from the same university in 2005.
