Russ Fein

Board Member, Acting CFO at AllerGenis

Russ Fein has over 25 years of experience in the business and finance sectors. Russ began their career in 1995 as the COO/CFO of United Studios of Self Defense, where they co-founded, managed, and taught business and finance classes at the Instructor's Academy of Martial Arts. In 1999, they became the COO/CFO of Iron Street Labs, where they handled all operations and financial management of the 70 employee incubator that launched more than 10 Internet and e-commerce companies. From 2001 to 2005, they were the VP Worldwide Business Operations, Chief Risk Officer, and General Manager of Westcon Group, Inc., where they were responsible for global operations for the $3 billion distributor of communications and technology equipment. In 2006, they joined American Hygiene Industries as a Member of the Board of Directors and Acting COO/CFO. In this role, they led sales growth from $4.1 million when acquired to over $10 million. From 2008 to 2009, they were a Member of the Board of Directors and Interim CEO of Resonetics, where they grew sales from $14 million to $25 million. From 2009 to 2017, they were a Member of the Board of Directors of Genisphere. In 2018, they joined WatchWire as a Member of the Board of Directors and Acting CFO. In 2021, they joined Code Biotherapeutics as a Board Member and Audit Committee Chairman. Russ also worked as Managing Director for Corporate Fuel Partners from 2005 to 2018, where they managed the firm's $55 million equity portfolio and served as an active board member for each of the current portfolio investments, stepping in as interim CEO and CFO as needed.

Russ Fein obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Managerial Economics from Union College in 1985. Russ then went on to obtain an MBA in Finance/Accounting from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 1987.
