Ricardo Moraleida

Ricardo Moraleida has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Ricardo most recently worked at Alley as a Senior Software Developer starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they were a Technical Consultant at Intercept Brasil from August 2022 to June 2023, where they were responsible for establishing goals and deliverables for a website migration project. Ricardo also owned the technical part of the project and evaluated and signed off on deliveries.

Before their role at Intercept Brasil, Ricardo worked at The Events Calendar as a Senior Software Developer from September 2021 to April 2023. In this role, they were responsible for developing new features and integrations and maintaining WordPress plugins. Ricardo also upgraded and maintained the Promoter platform.

From September 2015 to August 2021, Ricardo worked at 10up as a Senior Web Engineer. Ricardo served as the technical lead for the development and integration cycle of websites for clients such as Microsoft, Smithsonian, and Credit Karma. Ricardo was also responsible for large-scale data migrations and served as an Elasticsearch expert.

Earlier in their career, Ricardo was self-employed as a WordPress Developer from May 2010 to August 2015. Ricardo also worked as a Project Manager at Aliás Comunicação from March 2008 to April 2010, and as a Communications Analyst at Vallourec & Mannesmann Tubes from March 2004 to February 2008.

Ricardo Moraleida completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from PUC Minas from 2002 to 2005. Following this, from 2007 to 2009, they pursued a Specialization in Management with a focus on Project Management at Fundação Dom Cabral. In addition to their formal education, Ricardo obtained a certification as an Elastic Certified Engineer from Elastic in December 2021.
