Jeff supports the growth of AlleyCorp’s healthcare practice as a co-founder and mentor for AlleyCorp’s founding CEOs and broader network, focusing on a range of projects across maternity care, digital therapeutics, and behavioral change – with an emphasis on pushing current thinking on the relationship between social forces and healthcare.
Jeff has dedicated his career to broadening access to healthcare, particularly for the most vulnerable patients. His first company, Groups, has become the leading provider of value-based opiate addiction treatment. Launched while he was still a medical student, Groups was conceived as a space for patients to heal and discover common solutions to their shared problems. Having completed a 2019 growth round led by Kaiser Permanente, Optum Ventures and Leerink/SVB, Groups has become an important forcing mechanism for the collective acknowledgement and action towards one of the most troubling systemic healthcare issues facing the country.
Jeff is also a co-founder of Tempest, a holistic alcohol recovery program founded by Holly Whitaker that brings feminine-centric care to people poorly served by traditional addiction treatment.
