Sushil Luthra

Sushil Luthra has a wide range of work experience starting from 1988. Sushil began their career as a Railway Advisor at the Embassy of India, France, and worked there until 1993. Sushil then joined Indian Railways in 2000 and served as an Additional Divisional Railway Manager until 2003. From 2005 to 2009, they worked at RITES Ltd. as a Group General Manager. Sushil then joined Indian Railways again in 2009 and held the positions of Divisional Railway Manager and later Chief Mechanical Engineer, COFMOW & North Frontier Railway until 2013. Sushil then worked at RITES LTD as an Executive Director from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, they became the Chief Administrative Officer at IR - Diesel Locomotive Modernisation Works (DMW), overseeing the production unit for diesel loco manufacturing, rebuilding, modernisation, and major component manufacture. Currently, they are the Head of Strategy & Operations at Allfresh Supply Management Private Limited, a position they have held since 2017.

Sushil Luthra completed their schooling at Christ Church College in Lucknow from 1965 to 1975. After that, they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Metallurgical Engineering from IRIMEE, Jamalpur/ SCRA, between 1976 and 1980. Later on, from 1983 to 1984, Sushil Luthra attended Hatfield Polytechnic in the UK, where they received a Post Graduate Fellowship in Diesel Engine Development, Testing, and Turbochargers.
