Michelle Yap

Michelle Yap has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Michelle is currently working as Vice President Group Strategy at Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at GREAT EASTERN from 2020 to 2022 as an Operations Project Lead, managing project and testing management within Operations. Before that, they were a Consultant at MetaFI from 2017 to 2020. Michelle also has experience as an Operations + Business Development Manager at ROKKI from 2014 to 2016, and as a Senior Account + Product Delivery Manager at ROKKI from 2012 to 2014. Michelle worked as a Fund Accountant at Colonial First State from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, they worked as a Consultant at MetaFI in 2009 and as an Assistant Manager - Business Banking at ANZ from 2004 to 2008.

Michelle Yap completed their Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Technology Sydney from 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, they also obtained their Higher School Certificate from St Catherine's School Sydney, specializing in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and Japanese from 1994 to 1999. Michelle attended Sekolah Sri Cempaka from 1990 to 1993, but no degree or field of study was specified for this period.
