Ricky Chow

Ricky Chow has extensive work experience in various roles in the IT industry. Ricky worked as the VP of Business System Development (Data Warehouse) at Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad from February 2019 onwards. Prior to that, they were the IT Manager at Seri Mutiara Development Sdn Bhd from April 2018 to December 2018. Ricky also worked at Zurich Insurance Malaysia Bhd. where they served as an IT Project Manager from May 2014 to March 2018. Before that, they were a Team Lead at Zurich Services Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. from November 2013 to April 2014 and a Manager at Zurich Services Malaysia Sdn Bhd from October 2011 to November 2013. Ricky also held the position of Manager of Business Intelligence at MAAGNET Systems Sdn Bhd from February 2001 to September 2011 and started their career as an IT Executive at MAA Assurance Berhad from July 1997 to January 2001.

Ricky Chow earned a Master of Science degree in Strategic Business IT from the University of Portsmouth in 2007-2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Computer Science from De La Salle Institute School of Computer Science in 2000-2001. In 1992-1993, Ricky completed a NCC Diploma in Computer Studies from Informatics College. Ricky also holds certifications in COBIT® 5 Implementation from APMG International (obtained year not specified) and COBIT® 5 Foundation from the same institution, which they obtained in 2019.
