Tara Witten

Tara Witten, MPH, currently serves as the Associate Director of Programs at the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, a position held since April 2018. Previous roles at the organization include Senior Program Manager and Healthy Schools Program Manager. Prior to joining the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, Tara Witten worked at Washington State University as the SNAP-Ed Program Coordinator from May 2015 to April 2018 and served as the Healthy Head Start Coordinator for the Center For Family Services through AmeriCorps VISTA from March 2014 to March 2015. Early in their career, Tara Witten was the Group & Events Sales Manager at Hyatt Hotels Corporation from October 2008 to September 2012. Tara Witten holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from Portland State University, earned from 2012 to 2014, and a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University.
