Martine Charles, MPH, has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades in the public health field. From 1995 to 2015, they worked at the Inova Health System, where they held positions such as Director of the Office of Health Equity and Manager of Planning and Evaluation. In these roles, they were responsible for promoting health equity and overseeing planning and evaluation activities. In 2015, Martine started working as a self-employed Health Equity Consultant, providing advice on language services, disability services, and health equity needs to clients. Since 2016, they have served as the Director of Planning and Population Health at the Alliance for Aging, Inc. Martine's work experience demonstrates their expertise in health equity, planning, and population health.

Martine Charles, MPH, obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Community Health Education from Hunter College, where they studied from 1984 to 1988. Martine later pursued their Master's degree in International Health from The Johns Hopkins University, completing the program from 1991 to 1992.
