August Ball

August is the founder and CEO of Cream City Conservation. She joined ACE in August of 2018 when she was looking for an organization to partner with to provide earth stewardship opportunities to Milwaukee youth that were not related to direct service to public lands like her conservation program.

August has over 14 years of youth development experience and environmental program management. When she’s not organizing for ACE, she helps environmental organizations cultivate cultures that foster belonging and lead to dynamic and diverse work teams through workshops and organizational assessments.

A native of southeastern WI but citizen of the world, August speaks 3 languages and enjoys traveling the globe and hiking with her rescue pitbull Marvin.
