Meghan Watkins, MPH, CHES, currently serves as the Health Literacy Program Manager at Alliance Health, where responsibilities include overseeing health literacy initiatives, ensuring compliance with state contract requirements, and leading quality improvement initiatives focused on cultural competence and health equity. Previous roles include Health Literacy Project Manager at Alliance Health, where Meghan facilitated plain language translation projects and developed training tools, and Health Literacy & Science Program Manager and Writer at Health Literacy Media, managing large-scale health literacy projects and producing scientifically accurate materials. Meghan also has experience as a CRTA Fellow at the National Cancer Institute, a graduate student at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, and has held various positions that emphasize advocacy for public health and effective communication in health education. Degrees include a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Health Sciences.
