Emer Dooley has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Emer currently serves as the Site Lead at Creative Destruction Lab since October 2020. Prior to this, they were with the University of Washington as the Artie Buerk Faculty Fellow at the Foster Business School since September 1997. Emer is also a Trustee and Former Board Chair at Ashesi University Foundation, an institution in Ghana that aims to educate ethical and entrepreneurial leaders in Africa. Additionally, they have served as a Board Member at Women's World Banking since October 2017. In the past, they were the Executive Director of Alliance of Angels Seed Fund and a Board Member of Washington Research Foundation, ARCS: Achievement Rewards for College Scientists, and Julep. Their early work experience includes a role as a Hardware System Designer at Digital Equipment Corporation.
Emer Dooley has a Master of Science (MSc.) and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) degree in Computer Engineering and Electronics from the University of Limerick. Additionally, Emer Dooley holds a degree in Strategic Management and Economics, including an MBA and PhD, from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business.
