Risa Shoup currently serves as Co-Executive Director of A.R.T./New York since August 2020 and has been a Development Consultant since June 2019. Previous roles include Senior Consultant at Karp Strategies, Executive Director at Spaceworks NYC and Fourth Arts Block (FABnyc), Associate Director at The Invisible Dog Art Center, and Residency Manager at BRIC - Arts and Media in Brooklyn. With a strong background in fundraising, partnership development, and staff management, Risa has effectively expanded organizational strategies and fostered public-private collaborations. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute, an MA in English/Cultural Studies from Brooklyn College, and a BA in English & Theater from Skidmore College.
