Graham Harris has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Graham started their career as a Software Developer at Siemens Postal, Parcel & Airport Logistics in 1995. Graham then worked as a Research Assistant at Coventry University before joining Alliance Capital Asset Management Ltd as a System Developer in 1998. Graham went on to work at Goldman Sachs Asset Management as a Development Team Leader for a brief period in 2000.
From 2000 to 2003, Graham held the position of Systems Development Manager at Alliance Capital Asset Management Ltd. Graham then joined eXtrapola srl as a Net Clippings Configuration Designer for a few months in 2003. Following this, they worked as a Web-Designer & Underwater Photographer at Bayplay Adventure Lodge.
In 2004, Graham returned to AllianceBernstein and worked as a Project Manager (Consultant) until 2005. Graham then served as the Technical Head of Portfolio Accounting until 2009 before being promoted to the Head of Portfolio Accounting, a position they held until 2011.
From 2011 to present, Graham has been with AllianceBernstein as the Global Head of Operations Technology. In this role, they oversee a department of 250 technology experts across various locations and is responsible for managing insurance technology and general ledger integration. Graham has achieved significant cost savings through team relocations, off-shore capabilities, and the implementation and consolidation of various systems and applications. Additionally, they have successfully automated manual business processes, optimized resource allocation, and implemented various risk and infrastructure improvements.
Graham Harris attended Downham Market High School from 1984 to 1990, where they obtained GCSEs in Technology, Maths, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, English Literature, English Language, and French. Graham then went on to the Downham Market 6th Form Center from 1991 to 1992, where they studied A-Level subjects including Physics, Economics, and English Literature. Finally, from 1993 to 1997, Graham studied at Coventry University, where they graduated with a 1st Class BSc with Honours in Computer Science.
