Joseph Henriques has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Joseph currently serves as the Global Head of Regulatory Technology and Control at AllianceBernstein since May 2020, overseeing regulatory obligations such as best execution, trade surveillance, and regulatory reporting. Prior to this, Joseph worked as the SFTR Programme Manager at Numis Securities and was responsible for the front-to-back delivery of SFTR compliance.

Joseph also has extensive experience working at Morgan Stanley, where they held several executive director roles. Joseph managed the implementation of SFTR at Morgan Stanley, improved velocity by implementing an Agile structure, and ensured compliance with global regulatory reporting obligations during the go-live of a new German domiciled entity. Additionally, Joseph led Morgan Stanley's MiFID II Transaction Reporting and PTT delivery, played a crucial role in renovating the Global Settlements platform, and served as the OTC Pre-Settlements London Regional Lead.

Prior to their roles at Morgan Stanley, Joseph held positions at VocaLink as an Application Development Manager and Solution Architect. In these roles, they managed the delivery of a renovated payments platform and led the architecture and design of the Euro CSM. Joseph also gained experience as a Senior Java Developer at Solnet Solutions and a Java Developer at Peace Software International.
