Saya Uchiyama

Saya Uchiyama has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Saya currently holds the position of Vice President- Head of Japan product development at AllianceBernstein since October 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Vice President from August 2020 to November 2021, and as an Assistant Vice President from January 2019 to August 2020. Saya has also worked as a Senior Associate and Associate at AllianceBernstein, where they provided client service to Japanese clients and served as a liaison between the New York and Tokyo offices. Before joining AllianceBernstein, Saya worked at Deutsche Bank as a Junior Analyst and intern.

Saya Uchiyama earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Veterinary Sciences/Veterinary Clinical Sciences, General from The University of Tokyo, which they completed from 2006 to 2012. Saya later attended Vanderbilt University for a Data Analytics Boot Camp in 2020. In addition, they obtained the certification of Chartered Member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan from the institution of "証券アナリスト."
