Brenda Benson

Brenda (Bachmann) Benson, CRCM, currently serves as the Compliance Advisory Senior Manager at Alliant Credit Union since December 2019, where responsibilities include identifying internal and external risks in Residential Lending, Consumer Lending, and Credit Card initiatives and supporting regulatory examinations. Previously, Brenda held the role of Compliance Advisory Manager at Capital One from May 2012 to December 2019, focusing on consumer lending compliance processes and collaboration with legal and business teams. Prior to that, Brenda was a Compliance Manager at HSBC from May 2004 to May 2012, assisting in managing audits and interpreting governmental acts for senior leadership. Brenda's career began as Manager of Policy & Compliance at Household Retail Services, where initiatives centered on customer service policy development. Brenda holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Elmhurst University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
