Cindy Tomlinson

Cindy Tomlinson is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in external communications and public relations. Currently serving as the Manager of External Communications at Alliant Energy since December 2019, Cindy leads a talented team focused on fulfilling the company's mission of serving customers and strengthening communities. Prior to this role, Cindy held the position of Associate Manager of Public Relations at TDS Telecommunications LLC, where responsibilities included generating positive media coverage and enhancing message delivery across various channels. Additional experience includes roles at Hiebing as a PR Counselor, the American Cancer Society as a Communications professional, the Madison Area Apartment Association as Member Services Director, and in sales at Sears, Roebuck and Co. Cindy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with a focus on Public Relations, Advertising, and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
