Shannon Kinard

Shannon Kinard has extensive work experience in Human Resources. Shannon started their career as an HR Generalist at DC Taylor Co in 2001 and worked there until 2006. In 2006, they joined Alliant Energy as a Manager of HR Consulting & Compliance, and later became a Human Resources Business Partner. From 2016 to 2020, they served as the Director of HR Consulting & Recruiting, focusing on recruitment and consulting. Currently, they hold the position of Director of HR Consulting-Transformation & Analytics at Alliant Energy, where they focus on transforming HR systems and processes. Their objectives include increasing efficiency, enhancing employee experience, and driving customer affordability.

Shannon Kinard obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Northern Iowa in 1999. Later, in 2004, they earned a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix.
