Wendy Greene

Wendy Greene is a highly experienced environmental specialist with over a decade of expertise at Alliant Energy, currently serving as a Senior Environmental Specialist in Environmental Permitting and Construction. This role involves evaluating energy projects for environmental impacts, overseeing due diligence and permitting efforts related to wetlands, floodplains, endangered species, and contaminated sites, among others. Wendy also provides construction support and maintains environmental compliance during operations. Prior to Alliant Energy, Wendy held various positions at the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, including RCRA Program Specialist and Drinking Water and Recreational Waters Program Specialist, where responsibilities included hazardous waste compliance inspections and drinking water system evaluations. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, General Science, and Environmental Science from Coe College.
