Karen Holtz, MT(ASCP) MS CPHQ, currently serves as the Education Lead for the Healthcare Quality Improvement Contractor at Alliant Health Solutions since October 2020. Previously, Holtz worked at Vizient, Inc. from December 2015 to June 2019 in Performance Management Advisory Services, focusing on performance improvement coaching for hospitals. Prior roles include Director of the QUEST Collaborative Education and Delivery at Premier, Inc., where management of educational initiatives for over 350 hospitals was a key responsibility, and Director of Performance Enhancement at Carolinas HealthCare System, leading consulting projects across 30 hospitals. Holtz's educational background includes a Master of Science in Healthcare Management from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
