Denise Wichmann

Denise Wichmann, MHA, currently serves as SVP, Benefits Consultant at Alliant Insurance Services since April 2025. Prior to this role, Denise held multiple positions at Mercer from March 2020 to March 2025, including Senior Principal, Principal, and Senior Associate. Denise has extensive experience in healthcare leadership, having served as Director of the Sanger Heart and Vascular Institute at Atrium Health from May 2016 to February 2020, and as Manager of Outreach and Business Development at Carolinas HealthCare System from October 2009 to May 2016, where notable contributions included the development of the Global Patient Services program. Denise also has experience as a Wellness Coordinator at LiveWELL and as a Management Intern at Levine Children's Hospital, focusing on improving patient care processes. Earlier, Denise contributed as an AmeriCorps Member with the National AIDS Fund, providing HIV/AIDS education and outreach. Denise holds a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration and a Certificate in Community Health from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a degree in Health and Society with a focus on Public Health from the University of Rochester.
