Joel Chan

Joel Chan is an experienced technology leader with a robust background in enterprise architecture and IT service management, currently serving as the Regional Enterprise Architect and Regional Head of IT Service at Allianz Asia Pacific since March 2017. In addition to this role, Joel acted as the Chief Information Officer for Allianz Sri Lanka, focusing on enhancing IT team capabilities through knowledge transfer and productivity initiatives. As an Associate Lecturer at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Joel teaches Cybersecurity and Cloud technologies, leveraging industry experience to enrich the learning experience for working adults. Previous roles include serving as CTO at 1cloudstar, where Joel established a Managed Services business, and holding various senior positions at ST Electronics, including Senior System Consultant and Project Manager. Joel holds a Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and dual Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science from Cornell University.
