Garreth Ong

Garreth Ong, CFA, has extensive experience in portfolio management, particularly in fixed income investments. Since August 2015, Garreth has served as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Allianz Global Investors, managing fixed income funds. Prior to this role, Garreth held the position of Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Fullerton Fund Management from November 2005 to August 2015, where the focus was on managing various fixed income funds, including Asia local currency portfolios, RMB/CNH portfolios, and Asia USD credit portfolios. Garreth's career began with a role as a Senior Business Executive at QB Pte Ltd from June 2003 to November 2005, concentrating on business and product development and financial modeling. Garreth holds a Master of Engineering in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, both from Cornell University.
