Alexander Pabst

Alexander Pabst currently serves as Deputy Group CISO at Allianz, a position held since May 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Principal Consultant at Security Research Labs from May 2019 to April 2020, Co-Founder & CEO at Cytrust from September 2018 to April 2019, and Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company from September 2014 to June 2018. Alexander was also Co-Founder & Head of Product at Candiapp UG for part of 2014, and held various engineering positions at Cisco, including Systems Engineer and Associate Systems Engineer, from July 2008 to September 2012. Earlier roles include Solution Specialist - Technical Presales Engineer at Intel Corporation (July 2006 - August 2007) and CTO at Gosign media. GmbH (April 2002 - June 2006). Alexander completed an MBA at INSEAD in 2013 and earned a BSc in Computer Systems Engineering with a Year in Industry from the University of Kent from 2004 to 2008.
