Arun Chanana

Arun Chanana is an accomplished insurance executive with extensive experience in underwriting, distribution, and strategy development across leading companies in the industry. Currently serving as Chief Underwriting Officer and Global Head of Programs at Allianz since 2012, Arun manages a $500 million portfolio of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance programs, driving market-leading initiatives in partnership with various stakeholders. Previous roles include SVP and Head of Distribution and Agency Management at Fireman’s Fund, VP and Head of Programs at USI Insurance Services, and COO of Financial Lines at NSM Insurance Group. Arun's career commenced at AIG as a Senior Underwriter before progressing through notable consulting positions at Deloitte, PwC, and Munich Re, contributing to competitive strategy and mergers and acquisitions. Arun holds a BA in Economics from Columbia College and an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business.
