Javier Carpio

Javier Carpio has a diverse range of work experience in the field of technology services. Javier is currently working as a DevOps Engineer at Allied Global Technology Services, starting in June 2022. Prior to this, Javier worked at TELUS as an Applications Development Project Manager from January 2020 to June 2022. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating deliveries from multiple teams and managing the branching strategy, CI/CD/CT, and DevOps automation. Before TELUS, Javier worked at Conduent as a DevOps Release Administrator from May 2019 to December 2019, where they focused on CI and CD creation, environment setup, and the development of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Azure. Additionally, Javier has experience as an IT Engineer at Ericsson from June 2017 to January 2019, where they deployed applications, managed Linux systems, and worked as an Oracle Database administrator. Prior to Ericsson, they worked as a Software Developer Dotnet at Banco Promerica Guatemala from December 2016 to June 2017.

Javier Carpio obtained their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Science and Systems Engineering from the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Javier later pursued various certifications, including AZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure for SAP Workloads Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate, Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®), and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
