Rich Barrett's work experience spans over several decades and includes various roles in different companies. Rich started their career in 1982 as a Terminal Supervisor in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, at Landrum & Brown. In 1983, they joined American Airlines as an Operations Coordinator, where they worked for almost two decades until 2002. During this time, they gained extensive knowledge and skills in airline operations. In 2002, Rich joined the Allied Pilots Staff Employees Association, taking on the role of Contract Administrator. In 2013, they were promoted to President of the association, showcasing their leadership abilities. Rich's work experience demonstrates their strong background in aviation and their commitment to representing and supporting airline employees.
Rich Barrett attended Middlesex College from 1970 to 1971, where they studied Accounting. Prior to that, they attended Phoenix College from 1966 to 1968, focusing on Business Administration and Management. In 1963, they briefly attended the University of Rhode Island, where they pursued Liberal Arts and Sciences in General Studies and Humanities.
