Tomás Kenney

Tomás Kenney has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Tomás began their career as an Assistant at the Hesburgh Library Rare Books and Special Collections Department in 2008, where they worked until 2012. In 2011, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Notre Dame Center for Social Concerns and as a Research Assistant at the University of Notre Dame, Department of Sociology: Center for the Study of Religion and Society.

In 2012, Tomás worked as a Paralegal at Edelman, Combs, Latturner, & Goodwin, LLC before transitioning into the advertising field as an Advertising Coordinator at AbelsonTaylor in 2013. Later that year, they joined Catlin as a Graduate Trainee until 2015, when they moved to XL Catlin as an Underwriting Trainee.

Their career in insurance continued at Allied World Reinsurance Company, where they held multiple roles. Tomás started as an Underwriter from November 2016 to February 2019, then became a Senior Underwriter from March 2019 to February 2020. Currently, they serve as an Assistant Vice President at Allied World Reinsurance Company starting from March 2020.

Tomás Kenney completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Notre Dame, graduating in the year 2012. In addition to their degree, they also hold certifications in Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) from The Institutes, although the date of obtaining these certifications is not specified.
