Sarah Mitchell

Sarah Mitchell is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within the legal and compliance sectors. Currently serving as the Vice President, Assistant General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Allied World Assurance Company since May 2017, Sarah actively contributes to executive management and oversees legal compliance, regulatory filings, and board updates. Prior experiences include serving as an associate at Connell Foley LLP and Podvey Meanor, focusing on commercial liability and property insurance litigation, respectively. Sarah began her legal career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Joseph C. Cassini, III, and has also held positions within the Cook County State's Attorney's Office, where trial experience was gained.
