Director Of Family And Community Wellness at Allies for Every Child

Michelle Schafer has a diverse work experience in the field of family and community wellness. Michelle started their career as a Child and Family Therapist at Didi Hirsch Community Mental Health Center in 2006. Michelle then worked as an MFT intern at ECHO Malibu Treatment Center from 2008 to 2010. Michelle joined UCLA Department of Medicine in 2003 and held the positions of Senior Community Health Representative from 2003 to 2005 and Project Director from 2005 to 2010. In 2011, they became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and worked at both All In Family Services and in private practice. Michelle later became the Lead Clinical Supervisor at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services in 2014. Currently, they are the Director of Family and Community Wellness at Allies for Every Child since 2017.

Michelle Schafer earned their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on MFT from Pepperdine University, where they studied from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan from 1997 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biopsychology and Cognitive Science. Michelle also attended West Bloomfield High School from 1993 to 1997, although no degree or field of study information was provided.
