Alex Flood

Alex Flood is an accomplished professional in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Director of Process and Product Development at Allogene Therapeutics since April 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Director of Process Sciences at Atara Biotherapeutics, Principal Scientist in Viral Vector Development at Amgen, and Senior Scientist in Process Development at PATH, where Alex focused on developing vaccines for global health initiatives. Earlier career highlights include serving as a Senior Research Scientist at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Princeton University, concentrating on neurovirulent virus mechanisms. Alex holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from Wake Forest University School of Medicine and a B.S. in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech.
