Yazmin Alvarez

Yazmin Alvarez serves as the Head of Validation at Allogene Therapeutics since May 2020, with extensive experience in validation and quality assurance roles within the biopharmaceutical industry. Prior to this, Yazmin held the position of Senior Manager of Verification and Validation at Grifols from May 2013 to May 2020, where responsibilities included serving as a cleaning validation subject matter expert and managing cleaning and process validation activities. At Amgen, from April 2002 to April 2013, Yazmin progressed through several roles, including Principal Validation Scientist and Validation Manager, leading cleaning and sterility assurance validation strategies, supervising staff, and managing validation documentation. Yazmin holds an M.S. in Chemistry with a 4.00 GPA and a B.S. in Chemistry with a 3.48 GPA from the University of Puerto Rico.
