Harry Lau

Harry Lau has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the technology industry. Harry has worked as the Director of Pre-sales APAC, Enterprise at Allot, where they led the Pre-sales team in APAC, assisted Regional Sales Directors, and helped achieve consistent growth. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Pre-sales in the same company, focusing on pre-sales activities for APJ and developing go-to-market strategies to drive revenue growth.

Before their time at Allot, Lau worked as a Pre-sales Consultant at CYREN, where they specialized in web security, cyber threat intelligence, and other solutions. Harry also held the position of Regional Manager, S.E. Asia at inTechnology Distribution, responsible for sales and distribution of software solutions in South East Asia. Additionally, they worked as a Technical Director at BlueTide Systems, managing teams and providing solution design and consulting. Lau began their career as an Engineer/Consultant at Transition Systems Malaysia, where they gained expertise in various networking technologies.

Lau also has experience in training, having worked as a Trainer at Informatics Group Singapore, delivering courses on Microsoft and Cisco technologies. Harry has also served as a Sessional Lecturer and Tutor at Monash University. With their extensive background in pre-sales, technical management, and training, Lau brings a wealth of diverse experience to the table.

Harry Lau has a Bachelor of Digital Systems degree from Monash University, which they obtained from 1995 to 2000. Their field of study during this time was Electronics and Digital Signal Processing (DSP).

In addition to their degree, Harry Lau also holds two certifications. Harry obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in July 2016 and the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) certification, also from (ISC)², in January 2022.
