Cintia Piccina

Cintia Piccina has extensive work experience in various roles within the pharmaceutical industry. Cintia is currently serving as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at AlloVir since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Commercial Officer at Adaptimmune from February 2022 to June 2023. Cintia also held positions such as SVP Global Commercial & US General Manager at 2seventy bio from November 2021 to February 2022, and SVP, Global Commercial Oncology & US General Manager at bluebird bio from April 2020 to February 2022. Cintia spent a significant portion of their career at Novartis where they held various leadership roles, including VP, Global Oncology Cell and Gene /CAR-T PMO from October 2018 to April 2020 and VP, US Oncology Lung and Rare Diseases Business Franchise from August 2017 to October 2018. Cintia also served as the Head of Sales, Neurosciences, Marketing Director Psychiatry, Director Sales Strategy, Specialty Medicines and Marketing Transplant, Director Business Operations Commercial Development and Specialty Businesses, and Head of Global Marketing and Sales Excellence during their tenure at Novartis. Before joining Novartis, Cintia held roles at Novartis Biociências as the Head of Strategic Marketing and Institutional Sales, Brand Director, diabetes, Sales Representative, Head of External Relations & Pharmapolicy, Brand Director Neurosciences, and Head of Drug Regulatory Affairs. Cintia began their career in the pharmaceutical industry at Pfizer Inc as Drug Regulatory Affairs and also worked in Drug Development & DRA at FURP.

Cintia Piccina completed their Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy & Biochemistry from USP - Universidade de São Paulo between 1991 and 1995. Cintia went on to pursue an MBA in Marketing Administration at ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing from 1996 to 1998. In 2023, they enrolled in a program called "Women in Boards" at Wharton Executive Education. Prior to their university education, Cintia attended Colégio Universitário Alphaville from 1988 to 1990, and Instituto São Pio X from 1982 to 1987.
