Wyatt Andree

Lead Production Engineer at Alloy Enterprises

Wyatt Andree has a long and varied work experience. Wyatt began their career in 2010 as a Researcher at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, where they designed and fabricated a test apparatus for a wind tunnel to monitor the pitch and plunge of an airfoil. In 2011, they became a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Altaeros Energies, an airborne wind turbine technology startup, and worked on designing and fabricating a 25' x 25' mobile base station for a 2.5 kW airborne wind turbine. That same year, they also volunteered as an engineer for a nonprofit organization constructing a health clinic in Ejemekuru, Imo State, Nigeria. In 2012, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at OsComp Systems, an energy startup, and as a Mechanical Engineering Consultant at Exact Engineering, a consulting company. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Keystone Tower Systems, where they developed a conceptual manufacturing process for a novel in-field spiral welded wind tower production. Finally, in 2022, they became a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Alloy Enterprises Inc., an additive manufacturing company, where they researched and developed proprietary surface treatments of the feedstock and designed and performed experiments to rapidly test a variety of novel processes and parameters.

Wyatt Andree received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering between 2008 and 2012. Prior to that, they attended Wilbur Cross High School between 2004 and 2008.
