️ Jonathan Petrides

Jonathan Petrides has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. ✌️🌱 Jonathan is the Founder and CEO of allplants, a leading plant-powered startup in Europe. ✌️🌱 Jonathan also served as a Fellow at Unreasonable, an organization dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs. Additionally, they worked as a Supporter at Beam, a crowdfunding platform aimed at helping people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Jonathan has also co-founded and chaired Penda Health, a healthcare company focused on transforming healthcare in Kenya. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Product/Operations/Strategy Interim Lead at The Vivid Lab and as a Product and Growth Lead at M-Shwari, the world's leading mobile-only bank account. ✌️🌱 Jonathan also founded and led Jipange KuSave, Africa's first mobile-based bank. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at McKinsey & Company, focusing on telecoms, grocery retail, and retail banking. ✌️🌱 Jonathan started their career as a Global Markets Analyst at RBS and gained experience in the hospitality industry at Sodexho Catering Services.

Jonathan Petrides attended Haberdashers' Boys' School from 1994 to 2002. During their time there, they studied different subjects including Maths, Economics, History, and German (AS), earning 4A's. Later on, they joined the University of Nottingham from 2003 to 2006, where they pursued a field of study in History and achieved First Class Honours.
