David Knowles

David Knowles has over 30 years of work experience in procurement, supply chain management, and logistics. David is currently the Head of Procurement Supply Chain & Logistics at AllPoints Fibre, where they optimize supply chain operations and contributes to the overall success of the organization. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Supply Chain Management at Jurassic Fibre and was responsible for contract negotiations and procurement activities. David also served as a Senior Distribution Manager at Nu-Heat Underfloor Heating & Renewables, where they maximized distribution resources and managed a team of 12 operatives. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Chief Engineer Liaison Officer at Babcock International Group, coordinating defense contracts and conducting benchmarking activities. David also served as a Range Control Officer at the UK Ministry of Defence and as a Stores Officer at the Royal Fleet Auxiliary, where they managed inventory and conducted audits.

David Knowles attended University Centre South Devon from 1987 to 1989, where they obtained an HND degree in Graphic Design. Prior to that, from 1980 to 1986, they attended Coombeshead Academy. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in IOSH Managing Safely from HSE People and Excel: Advanced Formulas and Functions from LinkedIn in 2022 and 2021, respectively.
