Sergei Rakov 🎯

Sergei Rakov has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Sergei began their career in 2013 as a Product Manager at Omega Press LLC, where they successfully developed and introduced children's tablets to international markets. Sergei showcased the product at multiple international exhibitions.

In 2016, Sergei joined Leader Payment System as a Technical Program Manager, where they improved the efficiency of the Scrum team and achieved a 25% increase in team efficiency and a 19% improvement in on-time delivery. Sergei also launched international card-to-card money transfers in over 50 countries and increased the number of autotests for critical microservices by 80%.

From 2017 to 2022, Sergei worked at Rostelecom as a Chief Technology Officer. Sergei managed a development team of over 100 employees, overseeing the creation of four video surveillance products with up to 1.2 million users. Sergei also led a team of 50+ members as a Lead Technical Program Manager, coordinating the development and delivery process of two major B2G products. Sergei implemented artificial intelligence technology to detect exam cheaters, resulting in a 40% increase in product yield. Sergei also established efficient Agile development processes and improved communication between teams.

Sergei's most recent role is as the CTO of Allsopp & Allsopp Group, starting in 2023.

Sergei Rakov's education history begins in 2011 when they attended the National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET) until 2016. During this time, they focused on the Faculty of Microdevices and Technical Cybernetics, specializing in Computer Science and Computer Engineering.

In addition to their degree at MIET, Sergei also enrolled at The Computer Training Center "Specialist," where they pursued a course in IT - Project Management: information technology project management. This program was completed by 2016.

Sergei further pursued their education by enrolling in various courses at Moscow Business School. Sergei participated in the "Facilitation for a leader: how to involve a team in solving business problems" program, completed by 2020. Additionally, they completed the "Modern leaders: situational leadership and emotional intelligence" course as well as the "Status and tough negotiations" program, both finalized in 2021.

Continuing their academic journey, Sergei Rakov joined the American University in Dubai in 2022 to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Their focus of study in this program is Business Administration and Management, with a general emphasis.

Aside from their formal education, Sergei has obtained certifications to enhance their professional skill set. In December 2021, they achieved the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Furthermore, in December 2022, they attained the Scrum: Advanced certification, offered by the Project Management Institute.
