Valentina Ratner is a co-founder at AllSpice, a software company that provides tools for electrical engineering teams to accelerate the development of next-generation hardware products. Valentina is also a UFirst Fellow at Underscore VC, an accelerator for first-time founders. Prior to their current roles, Valentina spent two years at Amazon as a startup project manager. During their time at Amazon, they managed an internal productivity software tool, lead cost-reduction initiatives, participated in design reviews, and developed comprehensive project budgets for new facilities. Valentina also drove standardization by creating new project management processes with corresponding training materials. In addition, Valentina led complex warehouse projects across 5 States with aggressive schedules and supervised on-site vendor groups of 20+ workers. Valentina also coordinated material flow and installation schedules of interdependent vendors and internal support teams. Furthermore, Valentina managed the overall project budget and approved all purchase orders. Lastly, they acted as the company representative with suppliers during project execution and completed 10 warehouse openings totaling over 1.5M sqft. of industrial space in 15 months.
Valentina Ratner attended Harvard Business School, where they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General. Valentina also attended Harvard University, where they earned their Master of Science (MS) in Engineering with a focus on Computer Science and Human-Computer Interaction. Finally, Valentina Ratner attended Boston University, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering.
