Steven Armstrong

Steven Armstrong serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary at Allstate since February 2017, previously holding the role of Vice President of Pricing Analytics & Actuarial Services. Prior experience includes serving as the Chief Pricing Actuary at QBE North America, where responsibilities encompassed pricing for a diverse range of personal and commercial lines. Steven also worked as the Managing Director of Product and Underwriting at Plymouth Rock Assurance New Jersey, focusing on product management and profitability for various insurance portfolios. A tenure at AIG as the Global Chief Portfolio Actuary for Consumer Lines involved advancing actuarial practices globally, while earlier career positions at Allstate included oversight of usage-based insurance programs and predictive modeling for auto and claims. Steven holds a B.S. in Actuarial Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Illinois Chicago.
