Matt Steinfort

Matt is CFO at Zayo, overseeing all financial operations as well as corporate development, people and culture, investor relations, treasury, tax and legal. Matt joined Zayo in 2016 as Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy, Development, and Administration.

Matt joined Zayo from Envysion, which he founded together with Zayo’s Dan Caruso, and where he remains on the board of directors. Prior to Envysion, he was senior vice president of Corporate Strategy at ICG Communications and held a variety of executive roles at Level 3 Communications, including Vice President of Consumer Voice, Vice President of Strategy and Vice President of Finance. Earlier in his career, Matt held positions at management consultancy Bain & Company and IT consultancy Cambridge Technology Partners.

Matt received a bachelor’s in civil engineering and operations research from Princeton University and an MBA from the MIT-Sloan School of Management.
